Concluding A Tenancy
Concluding A Tenancy
When a tenancy comes to an end, Fairview Property will conduct a tenant ‘check-out’, where we visit the property to conduct a full inspection in the presence of the tenant. The inventory is checked to ensure that all items are present, and in an acceptable condition, and the property is thoroughly checked for any signs of damage or unreasonable wear and tear.At Fairview Property, we always aim to ensure that the property is left in the same condition as it was presented to the tenant on the day they moved in. Should the property require to be cleaned, a charge will be levied against the tenant.
Final utility readings are also taken, and the tenant will be asked to provide a signature against these. Fairview Property will then notify the relevant utility companies that the tenant has vacated the property.
The tenant deposit will be refunded to the tenant within 14 days of their vacating the property, less any costs incurred for making good any damage or unfair wear and tear, or any cleaning charges which may apply.
